Our under 13’s kicked off their season in the same fashion as the firsts and seconds!

Asked to bat first against an u15 girls team boasting several county players our boys were focused on the task in hand. We posted 141-4 from our 20 overs with 3 retirements at 30.

In reply the ball was struck cleanly down the ground with worrying ease, but the boys fielded well, chipping away at their batting line up. Bovey closed on 111-7.

Played 1 won 1.

Lots of individual achievements but as always will stick to team performance on here. Special thanks to Steve Harvey and Melanie Harvey for organising teams and teas, Alan Churchill for the strip, Graham Pascoe for umpiring and Margs Higgs for helping with teas.
